Seeing the possible power of the two 1st year, Fukatsu commands his center and ace to tightly guard the two. However, unknown to many, the recent Rukawa dunk has ignited the fire inside Eiji... (his pride was hurt..) As the crowd encourage Sannoh to do better, their own bench began to worry for the lack of points they converted in the last 4 minutes. Sannoh's offense was once again interrupted by a steal from Sakuragi, Rukawa picked up the ball and raced down the court. As the Sannoh players chase after Rukawa, Eiji hold them off, saying Rukawa is his. Very soon, Eiji caught up to the fox as Rukawa attempts a dunk. From behind, Eiji blocks Rukawa's attempt. (without fouling him.) Picking up the unclaimed ball, Eiji run past Ryouta, Mitsui and Akagi. With only Sakuragi in his way, the Sannoh ace scored with a perfect layup (swish!), between the hands of Sakuragi.
