| Episode Summary |
| A chance encounter with Yuko, the 50th girl who dumped him, Sakuragi and his Army decide to go to Takezato High to find out what distressed the girl. Unfortunately, mistaken for spies, they were attacked by the female students before they could even see Oda. In the meantime, Akagi is furious that Sakuragi has decided to skip basketball practice on the pretense of "being interviewed". That night, Sakuragi gets to see Oda, ultimately finding out about his injured ankle. As they were talking, with Yuko eavesdropping, Sakuragi encourages Oda to win in the game against Kainan, understanding full well that, despite his injury, Oda's pride was at stake and this is his chance to fight the No. 1 Champions of Kanagawa Prefecture. After their talk, a guilty Sakuragi returns to the gym to practice alone, only to end up falling asleep from exhaustion. Meanwhile, thanks to his loyal Army who went to watch the Takezato vs. Kainan game, Akagi and Kogure learn the truth of Sakuragi's missing basketball practice the previous day. |
