| Shohoku made a man to man defense against Kainan. Akagi successfully blocked Takazago. Miyagi got the ball then passed it to Mitsui. Mitsui attempted to make a three point shot but Jin was there to block him. Jin jumped, thinking that Mitsui would make a long shot. It's too late when he realized that it was just a fake. Mitsui was about to lay up the ball but Maki blocked him. Jin got the ball then tactfully passed it to Nobunaga. Sakuragi tried to block Kiyota but the latter was able to dunk the ball effortlessly. Everybody was stunned by that scene and even Sakuragi freezed for a moment. He could not believe what just happened. Ayoyi Aida noted that Kainan found a great player once again (she's talking about Kiyota). A big thanks to Akagi and Rukawa, the gap between the score of the two competing teams didn't exceed to four points. (Sorry, I forgot what happened next). The thing I remembered well was the scene of Sakuragi and Maki, as both of them ran fast to reach the ball. Sakuragi almost flew when he grabbed the ball and then threw it towards the direction of Miyagi. Sakuragi ended up crashing on the floor with Coach Anzai. But he did not care anymore because his full attention was on the game. The audience was shocked when they saw Sakuragi got up as if nothing happened. (They were amazed by Sakuragi's powerful stamina). Another best thing about this episode was the scene between Kiyota and Sakuragi. Sakuragi positioned to shoot the ball so Kiyota jumped (to block him) without realizing that it was just a fake. Sakuragi made a lay up and bingo! The ball went in! (Special thanks to Miyagi, he was the one who taught Hanamichi about that technique). Now, Takatoh decided to think of another effective strategy -- and that was to eliminate Sakuragi from the game. |

| I like Sakuragi but I don't agree with him when he said that Maki doesn't look like a high school student(a middle-aged man). I think Maki was one of the best looking player in Slam Dunk. Besides, he's only 17! |
