| It's 6:30 in the morning.In the court, Akagi and Sakuragi is practicing.He is practicing how to shoot.Akagi said that the left hand will always be the support for the ball.A stunning 200 points are done by Sakuragi.On his clroom while his teacher is teaching,Sakuragi is sleeping,obviously cause he is so tired already. Next practice, Sakuragi's gang are watching his practice while eating.They eat with sounds,it is very annoying to Sakuragi.He can't focus in the practice.So what he do,He shout at them,telling to get out of the court because he is destructed by them.AS he continue to practice,someone is knocking.He thought that it is his gang again,so he opened it and shout at them but...it is Haruko.He let HAruko enter the court.While Haruko is watching Sakuragi,a flashback ofthe slamdunks of Sakuragi with the Shoyoand Maki of Kainan.She said that Sakauragi is getting better and better.And she walk away saying Sakuragi to be good. THe team have a practice,Lay-ups and jump shots.AS the practice ends,Sakauragi and Akagi stay to continue practicing.Akagi notice that it is strange that Sakuragi is so serious in the practice,usually he always have something to say about his "Tensai Skills".Sakuragi is very different now.Sakuragi is practicing shooting,to help the team not only in defense.When Sakuragi shoots the ball,he heard some claps...its from Kogure.KOgure said that if he lost the game,he may never play the game anymore. Sakuragi undergo in the next part of the practice.Akagi on the defense,Kogurer will pthe ball and Sakuragi will shoot it. Next morning,Sakuragi is practicing,he make 200 points again.Because of his tiredness,he fall asleep,not knowing that they have a game with the Takasago. In the game, Hikoichi's (Ryonan) sister,Yayoi is there to witness the game.Base on her observation,Shohoku have many fans,people are watching because of the Shohoku,specifically they want to see Sakuragi Hanamichi.The audience notice that Sakuragi is not there.The game starts and Sakuragi is still sleeping,(Akagi is angry...) a ball hit the head of Sakuragi,and he is awake now,looking at the clock,he remember that he hve a game nyaaaaaaak...Sakuragi is rushing,on his bicycle,he rides very fast. In the game,Rukawa,Miyagi and Mitsui are making points making Shohoku on the lead. At last,Sakuragi is finally there.He is running out of breath.Nobunaga saw Sakuragi and his new hair-do,he laugh harder as if he will not laugh anymore.As usual Akagi hit the head of Sakuragi for being late.Sakuragi tell to him that he had practice and make a 200 points. Akagi decided,Sakuragi will not play because the Ryonan might see the improvement of Sakuragi.When he look at the Ryonan's team,he notice someone,(who's that guy?) The game is all set,120-81,Shohoku win.The next game will be Ryonan and Kainan.Watch out for it in the next episodes... |

| Truly,PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!!!Sakuragi improves his shooting skills making him look more Tensai,I guess so.I bet on the next game,he will earn more points than before.NICE SAKURAGI!!! |

| It's Thursday, June 24. At 6:30 am, Hanamichi is practicing shooting under the basket with Akagi. Gori patiently teaches him the right technique -- with his right hand open and his left hand assisting, as well as the correct shooting form. Akagi is actually surprised that Sakuragi is very cooperative, more so when he says that the basics are important. This prompts Akagi to encourage and train him even more. Sakuragi's schedule is to have him shoot 200 times in the morning, 100 times at lunch break and 300 times after afternoon practice. Of course, the morning shooting practice leaves our hero drained that he sleeps in class, much to the infuriation of his teacher. At lunch, Sakuragi gets distracted by the Gundan, who are noisily chatting, and promptly kicks them out. When someone attempts to enter the gym, the redhead yells at the interloper, only to discover that it was poor Haruko. Nevertheless, Haruko is amazed by Sakuragi's progress and comments that he is becoming greater than she has ever imagined. What Akagi and Haruko do not know, however, is that although Sakuragi loathed basic dribbling and passing practice, he is enjoying shooting practice immensely, that he disappoints easily when he fails to toss the ball into the hoop. But Akagi is very encouraging and, at one point, when Sakuragi is caught speechless that he failed to shoot because the ball slipped out of his grasp, Gori tells him to just go off and wipe his hands. That same night, Kogure shows up, deciding not to go home at once, to help in Sakuragi's training. With Kogure passing the ball to the redhead, Akagi places himself under the basket with his arms stretched above his head. Akagi notices that Sakuragi is too conscious of the defensive player and tells him to concentrate on shooting. During a short break, Sakuragi thanks Kogure for his help. Kogure reveals to them that if they don't win, the game with Ryonan will be the last for him, practically the end of his dream. But Akagi says firmly that they would go on to the Inter High. Although Kogure says yes, he is obviously not too hopeful that they would succeed. This only encourages Sakuragi to practice harder for the team's sake. On the day of the game against Takezato, June 26 Saturday, Hanamichi is seen doing 200 shots in the park. Team Shohoku assemble in the stadium for their 10 am game, but Sakuragi is missing, and surprisingly the fans in the stands are looking for him. As it turns out, our hero has fallen asleep in the park. Discovering that he is ten minutes late, he has to wheel like a bike speed demon through the streets of Kanagawa in order to reach the stadium. When he arrives, it turns out his presence is not needed after all, with Shohoku having an overwhelming lead over their opponents. As usual, his new hair do shocks not just the audience but the members of Ryonan and Kainan, and garners gut-wrenching laughter from Kiyota. Akagi is furious that he's late, but Sakuragi explains that he did his allotted 200 shots in the park. Gori decides not to let our hero in so that Team Ryonan would not see the results of his training. As he glances over to their rivals, Sakuragi sees the guy he met at the park, Fuku. The game ends with Shohoku victorious. At 12 noon, Team Kainan and Team Ryonan march onto the court to begin their hard court battle. |

| that morning Sakuragi was practising his jump shoot technique,he aims to shoot 20,000 shots thus Sakuragi got tired meanwhile the match between Shohoku and Takezato begins,Akagi is very mad why Sakuragi has not yet arrived.meanwhile at the playground,Sakuragi wakes up and he was shocked that it is already 10 am,he then rushed to the arena.Sakuragi finally arrives but it is already the second half and only five minutes remaining. Akagi scolded Sakuragi why he was late he told that he got tired practising jump shoots.Shohoku won the match,120-78.the match between Kainan and Ryonan will begin. |
