Secrets... (Author - Hannah)

One day, when Sakuragi was coming home from basketball practice he noticed that a huge crowed was gathering in front of his grandparent's house. He rushed to see what was going on and he was shocked when he learned that his grandmother died of a heart-attack. He saw his grandfather crying due to the loss, and he said to Hanamichi, "Hana-chan, you must call your mother in the U.S and tell her the news."


Two weeks later.....

"He isn't here again, is he, Aya-chan?" said the team captain Ryota, "He hasn't attended practice in two weeks!"
"Let him be, Miyagi, he is still grieving" Ayako said.
"I feel sorry for him, Mito said that he was close to his grandmother" Haruko said, "Maybe we should visit him"
"That would not be a good idea, Haru-chan, his mother is coming over from the U.S and he has some issues regarding his mother" Yohei answered from behind them.
"Oh!" the three said in unison.

===At Sakuragi's Home===

"Hana-chan?" Shinichii Uojin, Hanamichi's grandfather, called out to him, "Your mother is here. She said she would like to talk to you downstairs. And, she has a surprise for you. I think you would really like it"
"Ok" Hanamichi said without enthusiasm.
When he went down with his grandfather, he saw an elegantly dressed woman looking out the window. She has brownish-red hair and soulful brown eyes, and upon feeling their presence, she turned around.
"Is that you, Hanamichi? Oh my, how you've grown! You're even taller than Father here! My little baby's all grown up. Why don't you give mommy a hug?" Reika Smith(she married an american soon after she and Sakuragi's dad separated) called out to her first born.
"Why should I?" Hanamichi's cold voice replied.
Sadness crossed her mother's eyes, but before Shinichii could reprimand his grandson, two small voices called out to Reika's attention.....
